Configure system-wide settings for your organization.
Available to: Admin role
General Settings
| Setting | Description |

| Company Name | Your organization's display name |
| Default Language | Default language for new users (English / Arabic) |
| Time Zone | Organization time zone for attendance calculations |
| Date Format | DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY |
| Week Start | First day of the work week (Sunday or Monday) |
Attendance Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Geofencing | Enable/disable location verification for check-in |
| Auto Check-out | Automatically check out employees after shift end + buffer |
| Overtime Threshold | Minimum minutes beyond shift to count as overtime |
| Allow Manual Corrections | Whether HR can manually adjust attendance records |
Notification Settings
| Setting | Description |

| Email Notifications | Enable/disable email for approvals and status changes |
| Push Notifications | Enable/disable mobile push notifications |
| Approval Reminders | Send reminders for pending approvals after X hours |
| Escalation | Auto-escalate approvals after X hours |
Security Settings
| Setting | Description |

| Password Policy | Minimum length, require special characters, etc. |
| Session Timeout | Auto-logout after inactivity (in minutes) |
| Biometric Login | Allow biometric authentication on mobile |
Accessing Settings
- Go to Administration → Settings
- Modify the desired settings
- Click Save

Settings changes take effect immediately for new sessions. Active users may need to refresh or re-login.
